You can use many different strikes in self-defense situations. The exact location of the attacker and the proximity will determine the best way to defend yourself. For example, if your attacker is on your upper back, you can use your hand. You can strike with a knife, a hand position, or a palm strike for more fragile targets. Another striking option is a tightly curled fist.

Block in the Outward

The outward-block is similar in nature to a boxer’s slap, except you are not taking the punch from your opponent, but you block it from the outside. This block can either be done on the ribs, face or midsection depending upon where the opponent is going with his punch.

Side elbow

The side elbow serves as a defense move. The bone in the elbow is thicker than the bones in the hand, which means that it can be used as a brick wall to block an opponent's punch. It can inflict severe damage when used in self defense.

Eye strike

The eye strike, a basic self-defense technique, can be used against an opponent to inflame or incapacitate them. You can use your thumb or fingers to perform the eye strike. It is extremely effective when done correctly. Your strikes should be powerful and quick. They must also be repeated.

Rotate your wrists

If someone tries grab you by the wrists, the best defense is to rotate your wrists. This will allow the attacker to move away with as little force as possible. You can use your shoulder strength to break the hold of an attacker who holds you down.

A flat hand is used to slap an assailant's ears.

A flat hand, or a slap on the face of an attacker can be a good self-defense strategy that can be used in an attempt to stop an attack. A weak hand can reach the mandibular angles nerve, which is located in the ear. To avoid slapping your attacker, you should place your hand between the elbow and the armpit. Then, you can slap your assailant in the opposite direction.

Avoid confrontation

It is essential to avoid confrontation when practicing self-defense. You only have about a second to react and make your move in a confrontation. Do not become a target. A good way to avoid getting hit is to remain calm and aware of your surroundings. When an attacker is approaching, focus on the person's back, neck, groin, and legs.

How To

How to Survive a Home Invasion

Home invasion can be a frightening thought, especially if there are children involved. We didn't know what it would feel like to be in the midst of home invasions when we began our home security installation journey. Here's our experience so far.

  1. Do not let your children see the attackers. Our kids were sleeping upstairs when two men broke into our house. We took them downstairs until they arrived at the police station. Although our children weren't injured, they were traumatized enough.
  2. Lock Up All Valuables. Our bedroom has a safe that holds valuables. Even if someone breaks into the house, they won't be able to access it.
  3. Keep An Eye Out For Burglars. Our neighborhood has many burglaries. We keep a look out for suspicious people and cars.
  4. Have a Backup Plan. We will provide financial support for our family in the event of an emergency. If necessary, we have a plan for leaving the country.
  5. Prepare. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you must defend your life, you must be prepared. Always have food, water, or other supplies on hand.
  6. Get help immediately by calling 911. If you find out that someone has broken into your home, call 911 immediately. It is better to call 911 immediately than wait for the authorities to come to your house.
  7. Use common sense. Do not let anyone enter your home if you don't feel at home. Also, don't invite strangers to come over.
  8. Get Help From Neighbors Or Other People In The Area. If you feel unsafe, call your neighbors or friends. They can help you watch your back while you call the police.
  9. Stay Calm And Do As Instructed By Police Officers. Keep calm and do as the officers direct. Don't run away or resist arrest.
  10. Take pictures of any evidence. Take pictures of any evidence found during the investigation. This includes fingerprints and blood samples.
  11. File A Report With Local Law Enforcement. You can file a police report even if nobody was hurt. Doing so may prevent future crimes against you.
  12. Call the Insurance Company immediately. Your insurance company should be contacted immediately. Inform your insurance company about the events and request an adjuster to visit to assess the damage.
  13. Your personal belongings should be removed. You should get rid of all personal belongings. Don't wear expensive jewelry. Take it off and put it away.
  14. Take Care of Yourself. Make sure you clean up after yourself. Throw away the trash, sweep up broken glass, and make sure all doors and windows are locked.
  15. Talk about What happened. Do not talk about what happened to anyone. You never know who may try to use this information against or against you.
